Cylinders fail for one of three reasons: seals at the end of their life, a rod scored by contamination or impact, or a bore worn oval by side loading. We strip, clean and measure bore, rod and gland, then report what we find before work is quoted — so nobody spends rebuild money on a body that will not hold a seal.
Reseal work uses kits selected for the fluid and operating temperature, not the cheapest set that fits: nitrile, polyurethane, PTFE and FKM behave very differently at the temperatures Saudi equipment sees. Lightly scored rods are repaired; heavily damaged rods are replaced in hard chrome plated stock. Obsolete cylinders are reproduced from measurement. Send the cylinder, or bore, rod diameter, stroke, closed centre-to-centre length and mounting type.
