Helm pump displacement is matched to cylinder volume so that turns lock to lock land where the helmsman expects. Get the pairing wrong and the boat steers heavily or feels nervous at speed. We supply helm pumps front-mount and rear-mount, with or without integral lock valve, and the steering cylinders matched to them — balanced and unbalanced, inboard and outboard, single and twin engine.
We also supply tie bars for twin outboards, steering-duty hose kits and fittings, bleed and fill equipment, helm seal kits, and reversible autopilot pumps for retrofit or new installation. Small craft systems are quoted with reference to ISO 10592 where it applies. Send engine count, engine power, shaft or outboard configuration and the existing helm, and we quote a matched set rather than loose components.
